A Food System Diagram is a way to represent the elements, interconnections, and outcomes of the food system in order to help us understand how the food system works. You saw some examples of Food Systems Diagrams in the Lecture: Intro to Food Systems.

Now, take a first attempt at your own Food System Diagram. Be clear about the scale of your food system (for example, we saw different scales in the lecture: subsistence, Central Oregon, and US food system diagrams). Label the elements, interconnections and outcomes, and illustrate how they interact in the system.
