Children literature also referred to as juvenile literature consists of stories, magazines, and poems as well as books that are enjoyed by the younger ones in the society (Moruzi, Smith,& Bullen, 2017). Typically, current children literature is grouped in two different ways that are the intended reader's age and genre. Therefore, children's literature is traced to songs and stories forming the wide part of the oral tradition that the adults in the society share with the kids before they are published. This essay discusses the reasons why children's literature is rich of figures of little girls, the significant of the little girls as well as whether it matters if the work or the  children poetry has been written by either male or female author. In general, the report evaluates the reasons for the vast gender imbalance in the children literature, and it's significant as well as the difference existing when male and female writers the children literature.

Therefore, to create or show equality among the roles performed by male and females in the society, it is preferred that the children literature be so much rich in figures of the little girls in the community. As the children literature become richer with little girls' figures, the mentality that created among the young readers that males are expected to perform significant roles in the society than girls is removed. Both the adult and children characters in the children literature perform a significant role in the creation of the kids' poems and stories. However, the way the young children treats the little characters and adults characters diff er. Therefore, for the purpose of removing the mentality that most young girls possess while reading the stories, it has been preferred that the children literature be rich in little girls characters.

The significant of the figures of young girls in children literature

The little girls' figures in the children literature are significant in addressing the agency in the stories. Based on Terrell, et al, (2017) notes, their significant gender imbalance in most of the children stories as little characters are females. Creating gender balance and addressing the agency needed in the society of creating gender equality in roles performed by men and women, the little girl's figures are considered essential. It is therefore considered essential to use figures of young girls in the children literature to make it look visible and not dull as this is not always their nature. The general image of a girl being degraded can as well be removed through making use of the girl's figures in thechildren literature. Moreover, it is essential to recognize the significant of girls to the society considering the roles like cooking, giving birth and protecting young ones. The roles can be appreciated through recognizing them or using the little girl's figures in the children literature.

Comparison of the work written by a male author and female author

A book forms a reflection of the writers' personal life, views and the way each individual perceive the world in diff erent ways. For instance, a teenage male who is at the age of 15 years is more likely to have a diff erent portrait of a woman as compared to an adult who is at the age of '40s. Moreover, the writing of a man and a woman may differ, considering the kid of people each interacts with in the environment. Women in several occasions view men as being weird, incomprehensible creatures and completely alien as opposed to them. This point tells us that the perception that the readers and their age towards gender determine the number of readers and responses that can be received for a book or poem.

There is a great diff erence that can be observed in terms of readers and responses to a book, novel or magazine written by a male or a female writer. This is based on the diff erent perception that people have about women and men in society. After Francine Prose carried out an investigation on whether "women writers are really inferior" in her essay entitled "scent of a woman's Ink" it was found that by submitting the work under the name of male (pseudonym) more readers were attracted as well as responses that she could have received upon submitting the work under female name (Terrell, et al, 2017).
