The readers are interested in reading the posts from this blog because of the value it offers in terms of financial knowledge. The posts basically teach about financial literacy which is of paramount importance irrespective of which sector you work in. Although the blog is already doing well, l think more graphics should be added to the posts in the form of videos and pictures as this helps the reader to be captivated and derive more understanding.

Social media has become very popular when it comes to marketing, and it makes more sense since technology has taken over and it also helps to reach a larger audience in a very short space of time, which makes it convenient. There are four social media zones which all serve a different purpose but are very useful in their own way. The first one is social networking sites and popular examples include, Facebook and Twitter to mention but a few. These help to raise awareness and spread information rapidly which helps a company to introduce its product to the public. We also have Publishing, which is in the form of articles and e-books and these help the consumer to gain more knowledge on the product. Entertainment is basically there to raise awareness in the consumer sub-consciously, taking for example when big brands sponsor sporting events, they gain popularity and it improves their image as well. Lastly, commerce which is the art of buying and selling helps to raise awareness through existing clients (Jacobson, Gruzd and Garcia, 2020).

The use of social media requires careful consideration so as to provide the right content to the targeted consumers. If misused, social media can definitely yield the unwanted results. Taking for example, Facebook and Instagram are much popular with the younger age group and it would make more sense to use that platform to advertise products which are more attractive to that age group, whilst Twitter is deemed to be for those are at a more advanced age so products which compliment that age group will be more appropriate (Jacobson, Gruzd and Garcia, 2020).

In the context of the blog l have selected, since it teaches more about financial literacy its targeted market will be those who are earning some form of income and are looking for ways to invest, or those who are looking to utilize their skills so as to earn some form of income. The blog will probably be more captivating to those who are above the age of twenty-five so it will probably be more appropriate to market the blog through platforms like Twitter so as to add more traffic to the blog and reach a much larger audience (Jacobson, Gruzd and Garcia, 2020).
