Professional Communication Final Research Project Instructions

As we approach the end of the course, you will be required to submit a final research project based on a contemporary topic in professional communications. The objectives of this assignment are to allow you to explore a topic of interest that was covered in this course, and to strengthen your research, synthesis, and writing skills.

Students will research and analyze a topic of their choice and this analysis should cover one or more of the major topics as discussed in this course. As your paper may be on any topic related to chapter materials; your goal is to ensure you synthesize the material addressed throughout the semester.

Be sure to include the topic explored, supporting viewpoints (pro or con or both) and appropriate recommendations in your concluding remarks. Most importantly, be sure to detail YOUR opinion on the topic and how you feel about it – this is as important as any research you conduct.

This paper should be 4-5 pages in length (double-spaced) and be sure to cite references used.
