Milestone One: Project Proposal and Company Information

Due at the end of Module One.

As your course project, you will be tasked with completing and submitting a business plan. The business plan requirements have been provided for your ongoing reference in the Module One Resources content area.

Begin to think about a business idea on which you can base your plan. The business that you choose should be a small business The small business that you choose can be a fictitious business, an actual small business with which you are familiar, or a franchise opportunity that you would like to explore.

The business can be based on a product or a service.

You will submit your proposal by the end of Module One. Submit a brief paragraph or two on the reasons for your selection, noting in particular the product or service you will sell. Include as well the type of ownership you've chosen for your business and why.

Milestone One: Project Proposal and Company Information

In 1-3 Final Project: Business Plan Milestone One: Project Proposal and Company Information, you will submit Milestone One. The format should be:

? A brief proposal of your business. The business that you choose should be:

a) a small business, AND

b) a fictitious business that you will propose, OR

c) an actual small business with which you are familiar, OR it could be

d) a franchise opportunity that you would like to explore.

The business can be based on a:

? Your paragraph should also describe your business and the product or service you will sell. Use the “Company Information” paragraph on page 87 of your text as a guide for the business description contents.

Hi All, Hope this first week is off to a good start for all of you! I want to bring your attention to some outdated information that is published in your Milestone One assignment directions. There are instructions indicating the following statement under Milestone One: Project Proposal and Company Information: "Use the “Company Information” paragraph on page 87 of your text as a guide for the business description contents." Please disregard referencing this page in your text as it does not pertain to your current handbook. SNHU is aware of this information and will update these directions going forward. You may do individual research to reference other Company's Information in its place to complete this assignment. If you choose to do so, please also add citations to your paper of the publication / website you are referencing as this is good practice to ensure you are meeting proper paper writing requirements.
