Imagine that you have been recently appointed as a construction advisor to an NGO involved in ‘international development’. Their area of specialization is in development of infrastructure projects in developing and emerging economies. This NGO has overseen the construction of an infrastructure project in the region and is required by the project’s funders to produce a detailed report on the impact of the project locally. Your expertise lies in providing detailed analysis of the contribution of infrastructure projects to sustainable development. You have been tasked with providing advice on the following issues:
