Topic 2 DQ 2 When implementing action research, discuss specific steps that should be taken to ensure the validity and reliability of the data that is being collected

Seven steps of an action research project are Selecting a focus, clarifying theories, identifying research questions, collecting data, analyzing data, reporting results, taking informed action (ACSD, 2018). While taking these steps there are additional actions needed to ensure the research collected is valid and reliable. Things to look for when researching and ensuring the research is valid is the date of the article (is it outdated?) and the authors credentials. For the research to be reliable it must be able to be repeated by someone else. If another researcher can complete the same research and get the same results, this makes the research reliable.
