Think about your experience as you've completed the readings for this class

Writing

Think about your experience as you've completed the readings for this class.

  1. Overall, what did you think of this reading? Did you enjoy it? Did you find it boring? Did you find it difficult to read?
  2. At any point, did you feel distracted, frustrated, bored, or tired? If yes, when? What part were you reading? How long had you been reading? What was happening around you?
  3. What did you do if you got distracted, bored, etc? If you didn't experience any of these struggles, what did you do to avoid them?

Finally, think about what you learned from these readings. Explain one new piece of information and how you think you can use this new information.

  • 1.) I did enjoy it because it was a very interesting topic.

2.) I felt distracted because I was reading it in my bedroom. I was reading the first part. I was reading it for about an hour. Nothing much was happening around me.

3.) I try to move around and go to other places when I am distracted.

  • 1.  Learning personality types, how to create a personal study plan, good note taking skills, and how to stay focused during a lecture overall was a very interesting read I know that everything I read is something that I can reflect back to myself.

    2. As I was reading the book I did get distracted only because after a while some of the information seemed repetitive. I was reading at the library so it was very quiet and I managed to get the reading done in one sitting.

    3. I took a couple of breaks as I got bored but I didn't take too much time away from the reading. After I read a tip in the book that stated to view a lecture or in this case the reading as a conversation I did just that and it worked out.

    4. Good tips taken from chapter 7 I will keep in mind were the ways students stay alert pg. 112. I have a hard time staying focused in class and i could apply each and every 5 ways into a future class.
