Purpose This assignment is intended to help you learn to write a clear and concise cover letter as a business analyst. Overview Cover letters are an essential tool for standing out when there are many other applicants for a job. A cover letter should be clear and concise, but also include essential information like your contact information, the position you are applying for, why you would make the best candidate, and, most importantly, what you can do for them that no other person can. In this assignment, we want to see how you can fill a Business Analyst role as an Accountant/Accounting major. This assignment has two parts: Part 1: Pick a Business Analyst position currently open in your local area. This should be a position in a fairly well-known company. Part 2: Write a cover letter explaining how you, as an accountant, would be a great fit for the BA role. This body of the letter should contain a minimum of three paragraphs and 300 words, single spaced. Feel free to embellish a bit where experience is concerned, as long as it is realistic. (No superheroes please!) You should NOT need to cite any sources for this assignment. Please include a copy or screenshot of the position in a Word document.
