My business involves tutoring children that need extra help. The target market for my business are children with learning difficulties, average performers and children performing poorly at school. The target audience will mainly comprise with people within my county. The business mainly targets children between 8 and 17, though the tutoring services are open to all students in elementary and high school irrespective of their age. The tutoring takes place in a workout facility owned by my husband, which makes the facility’s clients my primary target market. The rationale behind this idea is that most parents or adults visiting the workout facility are likely to be accompanied by their children or other young siblings. This scenario provides me with the opportunity to offer tutoring services to the children without imposing additional transportation costs on parents. Average and low achievers have information needs that cannot be adequately met in a contemporary classroom setting. Most of them desire to perform well in school, and be at par, or even surpass their peers.
