Elected Official Health Care Policy assignment 1. Pick one local, state, or federal elected official (Ex: mayor, alderman, state rep, U.S. Senator, governor, etc.) 2. Search for information on the official's health policies. a. Do they have any health policies/health care ideas posted on their website or other media sources? b. If yes: are they specific or very general/vague? c. If no or if they are vague, is there a campaign number you can call for more information? If yes, did you get any more information when you called? 3. Briefly summarize the health policies you found. 4. If you were running for this particular office, what would you advocate for in terms of health? 5. Please include on the References page the elected official's website and any other sites you used in completing this assignment. 6.
