For me one of my big strengths in integrating emotion and reason into my personal life is the power of empathy. I can feel somebody else's joy, or I can grieve with somebody else to help them through a hard time. I feel it gives me the ability to see the world from many different points of view. As a result of that I feel like I am more of a well-rounded person because I have my own thoughts and emotions. However, I am constantly adapting because I am open to other viewpoints constantly.

One of my great weaknesses or challenges to overcome would be changing my viewpoints on things because of past experiences. I get hurt one time or I see something happen that I don't like and so I do anything not to feel that way again. Because I feel emotions so strongly whatever caused that negative feeling I completely avoid, or I become irrational towards it. I think to help me overcome this challenge I will have to expose myself to it more often whatever it is. Just because something happened in the past doesn't mean it will happen again.

My strengths for my integrated emotions are being self-disciplined. My weakness would be thinking over the integral affect. So basically, I will make decisions and think it will solve my problems but on the other hand, things can still go bad, and I have to remind myself I am not in control over everything. My strengths are what are keeping me going. I find myself being very emphatic and caring for others, but it can be a weakness as well because I sometimes find myself putting people I love needs before my own.

My family at times can be my strength and help pick me up when I am down. But after times I try to learn and develop going through some stuff and trying to process it alone. It can also value my feelings. Although it always feels good to talk someone, nobody will truly know how you feel besides yourself. You can help you more than anyone. I believe there is always room for self-improvement.
