Throughout the course, students will work on a Program Evaluation Project which is submitted in the final week of class

Health Science

Throughout the course, students will work on a Program Evaluation Project which is submitted in the final week of class.  For this project, students will work on various components of the Project which will be submitted into the Discussion Board for review and input by classmates, feedback incorporated, and then submitted the following week to the instructor for review and input.  For each item submitted, the goal is to continuously revise and incorporate feedback until it reaches near perfection, so multiple submissions to the instructor is expected and encouraged.  It is vital for each item to be done as well as possible, since it will become part of the Final Evaluation Project worth 350 points.
Components of the Evaluation Project to be submitted are:
  • Program Memo Statement (Week 4)
  • Logic Model (Week 6)
  • Measurement Memo (Week 7)
  • Final Program Evaluation Project Paper (Week 8)

Programs Memo Statement (week 4)

4) Address the intended benefits of the program - 1/2 page, 15 points
5) Address the causal model/program theory underlying and shaping the evaluation (use, value, methods, social justice) - 1 page, 20 points
6) Address the challenges and/or constraints (time, budget, data, political, etc.) that may influence your evaluation of this program - 1/2 page, 20 points
7) Be sure to cite ELCC standards to support your concepts or ideas (District or Building level)
Use the headers you plan to use for your final proposal for each section.
