Three tentative points that support the thesis:

1.) Henry VIII took power from The Pope and the Catholic Church in order to increase his own power.________________________________________________________________________________

2.) The Catholic Church lost a whole country of followers in addition to the Protestants who were already questioning their abuses of power all over Europe. ________________________________________________________________________________

3.) The people of England began to raise their social position through increased literacy partially because of the publication of the Bible in English.________________________________________________________________________________
