Institutions have been experiencing institutional discrimination in various ways such as the exclusion of a certain group of people. Institutional discrimination is promoted by discriminatory policies that the institutions adopt. There have been evolving ways in which people understand racism; racism is viewed as a result of an individual attitude towards a certain group of people. The attitude that people have of certain group of people enhance racism and institutional discrimination. The institutions are much slower to respond to racism, institutions have been adopting policies that exclude a certain group of people. The exclusion of the group is based on race or shared perceptions and practices.

Ethnicity is the shared perceptive, cultural practices that are different from other groups of people. Race comprises a group of people with different and similarities in biological characteristics deemed by an individual in the society (Andersen, Taylor and Logio, 2017). Racism is attributed to a certain group of people feeling that they are superior to others. Ethnicity and race relate to the film's explanation of racism, the film explains the people's understanding of racism. The concept of ethnicity and race is important in the film because it emphasizes the equality of treatment of all groups of people.

2. Prejudice and Discrimination
