• Use the assumptions of one ethical theory/lens (deontology, feminist, utilitarian, etc.) to explicate one ethical concern within the contemporary issue. This is the concern you introduced in your introduction.
• Describe in detail how this theory helps to clarify the key ethical concern. For example, if the ethical concern is autonomy, what does the theory say about the ethics of autonomy?
• Do not use your class textbook for this portion.  You are not describing the theory, rather applying it to your ethical issue. Use sources that enable you to learn about your theory in greater detail and to provide new ideas – different from the ideas that have already been provided to you in class.

• Continue examining the key ethical concern by using the ethics scholarly literature (3 articles). These articles need to be on the same issue and should be used to explain how the scholarly literature deepens your understanding of the issue and the impact it has on people.

• This section represents the scholarly portrayal of the concern and you will use this content to compare and contrast with the media portrayal of the concern.
