After analyzing the list of the internship opportunities available, I found that a number of them would suit my field of study. I also found that there are more that rhyme with my interest. However, the internship job opportunities that I would consider include; Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst Intern, research and data collection intern, and Data Science Intern. The three jobs interrelate, and below are some of the reasons that prompt in considering these opportunities.
One of the main reasons is that in every field or organization, data is one of the essential things that help plan the company's future (Gillespie et al., 2020). Research and data collection intern will make one get valuable skills that any company would need in the future, thus holding a better chance in securing a better job in various organizations. On the other hand, data science inter would help one be able to predict the future of an organization. With this, one would become more effective to any developing organization.
Another reason for considering these opportunities is that there has been a rise in internet and cloud computing use. This has opened various organization to the risk of information hacking and damaging by individuals whose aim would be to benefit themselves from the information they get from a given company. Taking Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst Internship will boost personal knowledge on how to detect hackers within a system and develop a more secure program that would hinder unauthorized access to organization databases.
Another reason that led to consideration of these opportunities is that I have all the qualifications required and the inters high relate with my primary field of study (Nghia & Duyen, 2019). Through the review of this reason, undertaking either of the interns will allow me to exercise what I learned in class in the area. Taking an internship that relates to one's main course creates more opportunities to secure a future job. Another reason that would prompt me to seek these opportunities is that I have dealt with massive data and doing various researches that affect upcoming organizations leading to their failure. Getting a chance in either of the above internship opportunities will help me acquire more skills to deal with data and information in a more secure way.
