As the writing theorist Peter Elbow proclaims, "Write what you know!" Defend or dispute the argument below to write your essay:Your argument should operate within the framework of the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Defend or dispute the phrase "We're all in this together" based on your experience during the current pandemic.  You may use specific examples from your experience to clarify your stance.

An effective thesis statement will be an important foundational element to include in this argument essay. The reader needs to know exactly what your argument is. Do you believe we are all in this together? Why or why not?
