Complete 2 pages APA formatted article: Masters Degree in Public Administration. My passion for excellence in the sport and the dream of helping people prompted my brothers and I to begin an organisation that was aimed at achieving this need. The non-profit organization that we registered had the basic objectives of assisting children that were suffering from various terminal diseases and disabilities. The skills and knowledge that we gained in the martial arts were very significant in helping us to assist these children through physical therapy programs (Dougherty 26).

In 2009, I moved a step further into my career, becoming a law enforcement officer in the same year. Currently, I am an employee at the department of homeland security in the United States. Security is always at the heart of every nation because of the need for secure investment and other economic activities in the country. For this reason, I am proud and profoundly honored to be part of the country’s security enforcement team, charged with ensuring that people co-exist in harmony, and conduct their social and economic activities comfortably.

Previously, I have been an active employee in the law enforcement unit, where I boast of a five years experience. I have made good use of my martial arts experience, being a co-founder of the Miami Power Team, a non-profit organisation that deals with helping children suffering from terminal diseases and other forms of disabilities.

In the organisation, we make good use of our martial arts skills in establishing physical therapy programs, where we also have incorporated other sports and exercises in keeping the children active (Dougherty 27). At present, we have more than 500 children supported by the non-profit organisation, where we offer different kinds of help and intervention including surgery and fundraising programs to further their education among others.
