Exercise Description Not every stakeholder will be as engaged in the project as you might like (and some might be more engaged than you would wish!) Stakeholder engagement can range from unaware of or resistant to the project to supportive or even interested in taking a leading role on the project. Thinking about each stakeholder’s attitude and interest in the project will help you determine the level of engagement required to make the project successful. You should also consider how much engagement you require from each stakeholder during each phase of the project: you may require stakeholders to be more involved during planning, for example, while others will take on a more prominent role during executing. Analyze where the gaps are between the desired and likely level of engagement, and work with your team to figure out what you need to do to increase the level of engagement to fill these gaps.
