Homosexuality has become more acceptable in U.S. society. Same sex marriage is legal in all states following the Supreme Court ruling. Yet, homosexuals face pressure from society to conform to heterosexual norms.  The video you just watched illustrates the issue from a reverse perspective.

• What is meant by homosexuality and homophobia?
• What is the evidence for biological and socio-cultural factors in someone identifying as homosexual?
• Consider the changes is society in the past 20 years in regard to the larger society acknowledging homosexuality as an acceptable sexual orientation.  Give some examples. 
• We have seen many examples, including the video you just watched, of children and teens being bullied because of their sexual orientation.  How can we as a society affect change in this area? How does this bullying affect the larger society?
