During your lab on various stains, you will be evaluated on your use of the microscope, your ability to determine cell morphology and arrangement of a given bacteria, your ability to properly prepare a bacterial smear and then conduct a simple stain on that smear.

 

Please observe your prepared slide. Record the name of the stain, the organism you observed, the organism's cellular morphology and arrangement and the total magnification under which you observed your slide.

 

Once focused on a slide, please call your instructor to grade you on your microscopy skills and show your instructor your recorded cellular morphology and arrangement.
