Hormones play an important role in development of the male vs. female body. Reproductive behaviors include courting, mating, prenatal behaviors and many forms of aggressive behaviors. Dimorphic behaviors are considered to be the “most striking” examples. Dimorphic behaviors are which that differs in both male and females. There are hormones that are present before birth, shortly after birth, and after birth play which all play a significant role in the development of these sexually dimorphic behaviors.
