ANSWER
1. POLITICAL PROBLEMS
the troubled political environment could be among the most important threats to U.S. competitiveness. “effectiveness of the political system” was worse in the United States than in other advanced economies.
A Long History of Rancor
Political campaigns in America have always been a contact sport. During the presidential election of 1800, for example, James Callender, one of Thomas Jefferson’s agents, declared the incumbent president, John Adams, to be a “hideous hermaphroditical character, which has neither the force of a man, nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman.” Jefferson weathered similar attacks, including one on his religious beliefs, which described him as a person “who makes not even a profession of Christianity; who is without Sabbaths; without the sanctuary, and without so much as a decent external respect for the faith and worship of Christians.”
2.SOCIAL PROBLEM
Racism in the United States has existed since the colonial era and it involves laws, practices, attitudes and actions which discriminate against various groups based on their race or ethnicity. Whilst most white Americans enjoy legally or socially sanctioned privileges and rights, these same privileges and rights can be denied to members of other races and minority groups. European Americans, particularly affluent white Anglo-Saxon Protestants, are said to have enjoyed advantages in matters of education, immigration, voting rights, citizenship, land acquisition, bankruptcy, and criminal procedure throughout American history.
Racial Injustice history
Racism has a long history in the United States, and its impact can be found in every facet of education, business, media and day-to-day life. After the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota and several other high-profile police shootings, Black Lives Matter protests took place across the country and have continued as activists demand substantial change. Many social workers are all too aware of the devastating and long-term consequences of racial injustice on the mental and physical health of individuals, and more recently, the NASW has vocalized its support for federal legislation that would enact police reform and address systemic racism within the criminal justice system
3.ECONOMIC PROBLEM
The national debt level of the United States is a measurement of how much the federal government owes its creditors. Specifically the national debt is a term referring to the level of federal debt held by the public, as opposed to the debt held by the government itself. Since the U.S. government almost always spends more than it takes in, the national debt continues to rise
HISTORY
Debt has been a part of this country's operations since its beginning. The U.S. government first found itself in debt in 1790, following the Revolutionary War. Since then, the debt has been fueled over the centuries by more war and economic recession.
Periods of deflation may nominally decrease the size of the debt, but they increase the real value of debt. Since the money supply is tightened, money is valued more highly during deflationary periods. Even if debt payments remain unchanged, borrowers are actually paying more.
