Covid-19 Economic Impacts – the student will be expected to talk about the impacts of the coronavirus on the United States and the world economies. Questions that should be answered include the following:

Are we entering a period of a “new normal?” Why do you/don't you feel this way. If yes, what will it look like both from an economic and a societal perspective? f. The federal government poured billions of dollars into the economy including direct payment of stimulus checks, PPP loans to small businesses, and payments to a variety of others including States, medical providers, and schools. What are the impacts from a macroeconomic perspective? Did they make sense? Were they enough, and do these policies have any risks?
