Explain how the account of biblical creation can be viewed as a model for innovative and creative leaders when managing chaos.
Hypothesize why it is important for leaders both to create and enable chaos as well as a clear sense of purpose in organizations.
This is a great question and I'm sure you will get a lot of great responses from everyone.
Well first of all God created heaven and earth. The earth was without form, and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. So he created light.God crated the sea, he created the dry land as well. He created grass, fruit. He created the stars to use as a guide, so that it the night you can use the stars as light. God created sea animals to fowl and multiply. He created land animals also to fowl and multiply. He created man in his own image, then a female as well to fowl and multiply. So as we know God is the creator, the chaos is how he is making all things new, this take place over 7 day window, he had order, he was committed to do this, he did not allow mind to wonder during all of this creation, he was able to complete it and be successful, as we are living proof of this, creating, the land, the mountains, the sea, the planets, the stars, humans and animals alike. Our worst enemy is our own thoughts, that is why we are sinners and have chaos in our lives, but with Gods divine intervention, we can create new things and are innovators ourself.
Leaders manage chaos by communicating, having plans in order, are thinking ahead of the game, have back up plans, have to be positive, engaged, seek advice from others with more knowledge and continually learning.
Leaders would have a broader vision over, on, and under their levels, inspire, and carry on task, pushing forward or organizing the people and resources to get the job done. Chaos and order are necessary to scout, survey present, or future conditions, and can work as training purposes to expect the unexpected Ex. in a brainstorm meeting at the beginning we can have many ideas comes up to the table (chaos), but after review all the ideas, and then organize by priority, or any other order, we have order.
This also goes with leading people, at the beginning can be a catastrophe, but then after some time having interactions to know each other, both sides has earned experience, they know their weakness, and strengths, same with a leader who can put together a group or team keeping a balance on their skills to able them to support each other and let them finish the task on a efficient way. Chaos can be defined as a mix of all resources, abilities waiting to be pick up or selected, and order is the one who complement chaos, organizing resources by type and give them a purpose to be.
For this reason, leaders, and assistants need to experiences chaos to find out what are opportunities or resources on hand, to later exploited those resources (issues, problems, people, etc).
