As a law enforcement officer, in my field of work, I believe that more people in this business rely on the instinctual or deliberate thought process. To explain my choice, I recognize that, Police Officers are cognitively busy. Because of this, we are more likely to make selfish choices, use aggressive language, or make superficial judgments in social situations. I am a system I type of person. As an officer, my individual thought processes and decision-making strategies might vary depending on the situation. It's not deliberate that I feel this way, I have to gauge a person's intentions daily, to determine if he or she is a threat or not.

DB#6

Do you believe that an individual's life stage development or social influences play a role in the changes people grow through in life? Why, or why not?

Please reply to this respond

Social relationships influence the development of adults and children. I believe we all have a self-concept. Because of this, we find a mentor or someone to look up too. I believe that an individual's life stage development or social influences play a role in the changes people grow through in life, because of things such as the theory of attachment, and theory of cognitive development.
