There was a point in time when live theaters were a big deal for many people. A lot of people would come to watch people play their roll and see the story unfold before the audience. These plays have been around for decades until now. Live theaters are part of entertainment like video games, music, televisions and movies, but this one is very special. I may not see the appeal of live theaters, I do see the importance for many reasons. Live theaters are very unique while having the same script which is something you don't really see on any other medias. It is a platform for directors to express their own ideas and give a new perspective that nobody would ever think about. They start an interesting conversation because it unites us to share our own views in a platform that demands society to understand itself. If the play is effective, we can look at our flaws and find a way to fix it. Not only are live theaters important socially and educationally, but they are very important to the economy. Live theaters has driven the economy to big cities like New York City because of quality of those plays guarantees revenue. Its also important to know that everyone involved in the making of the play are payed for their efforts. Those aspect that make live theaters very important have now been taken away from us. Ever since the coronavirus happened, many places are shutting down inevitably, including live theaters. While some medias are evolving into the digital landscape, live theaters can't do that. If the virus gets any worse than now, this will be the end for live theaters and that is a tragedy.
