Biases are everywhere in our daily lives, and any leader may fall into biases when making decisions. For me, when I was in an international organization, these biases may creep into my decision making, especially when the members of this organization came from different countries and had different cultural backgrounds, this may cause me to fall into this biases. I most prone too judging or evaluating people according to their group membership, but I will control myself and try not to let it influence my decision. Because as a leader in a team, if I fall into such biases, it may lead to poor mood for the team members. For example, if I judging or evaluating people according to their group membership, then the team members will be treated unfairly, thereby causing dissatisfaction of team members and affecting the stable operation of the entire team.

Implicit bias is a subconscious reaction. For example, when I first came to the United States, when I saw people with tattoos on the street, I would subconsciously think that they were members of street gangs. I feel that I am suffering from implicit bias, when I came to the United States, some students would deliberately communicate with me at a slower speed, and come to confirm with me whether China's current economic development status is as backward as they know. This implicit bias is not malicious, but it does make people feel uncomfortable. The dilemma of implicit bias for me is that I often think about whether I am experiencing implicit bias, or is it just that I am too sensitive? It is difficult to distinguish between the two.
