• Find an example of a food security issue from the present or recent past. Find examples that are very local or widespread, that occur in a developed or a developing country. For your example, identify:
  • Key facts: Who and how many people were affected, location, etc.
  • Which dimension of food security was missing (availability, access, utilization, or stability/vulnerability)?
  • What is the underlying cause of the food insecurity?
