Of the following pieces of legislation or events, which do you feel was the most important and why. Be sure to fully explain what the event or legislation was. What was the impact of this event or legislation on the country?

Do only one of the following. 

1. the Industrial Revolution, and the new inventions that were coming about. Why? Discuss at least two inventions, or new ways of doing business or manufacturing. What was good about it - was there anything not good? 

2. McCulloch v. Maryland, and Gibbons v. Ogden. Why was Justice Marshall so important in these decisions? What did the decisions say?
