Juices skin care specializes in affordable plant-based skin care products, gluten free products, yoni care products, and hair care products for your entire family, making your skin your best skin. Juices has been in business (LLC) for a little over two years and is owned and operated by Geneesa Travis out of Augusta, Georgia. Geneesa, started this business after realizing products for sensitive skin like hers were not affordable and may not work. As a struggling college student Geneesa, decided to research ingredients in hopes of creating her own products and sharing her creation with family and close friends.
One year later, Geneesa had a son she nicknamed “Juice” who was born with eczema and her research kicked into overdrive. Happily, my products have "cured" his condition and at 39, my skin looks better than it did at 29. All of our cosmetics and skin care items at Juices is all natural, organic, and yes gluten free made to order! I hope you'll love everything you purchase (Travis, 2021)! She did extensive research and developed natural organic products that helped heal her skin and the creation of her business was born. She began her journey by selling her products to friends, co-workers, local flea markets every weekend and even created an online store with Etsy and sold out every time.
Fast forward to today, this business has grown extensively and includes a physical location in Augusta. The online store is doing great and so is the storefront. I have been using Juices products for a little over a year after being introduced to her line by a close friend of mines who is a loyal customer. I must say I didn’t check out the reviews before using her products which I normally do but I put trust in my friend and all I can say is I’m glad I did! I have tried competitors’ products (store shelves, online products from other Etsy stores and even from the lady who sells her products regularly on side of the road) and let me put it simply, NONE of them worked! I can say though that due to limited inventory lately I have not been able to purchase my “go to” products which is a bummer and in a case like that the competition has an advantage due to products readily available in stores and online. You must be one step ahead of your competitors as it pertains to (Casarella, 2021):
As for Juices future, I see longevity in there impending because some of their goals are to ensure that consumers can use and afford a natural product for self-care, build their brand up, generate a positive rapport, expand their business, and become financially responsible to name a few. Due to the growth of their business, she is hiring more staff so that she can concentrate more on producing and keeping available stock of her products readily available for purchase, keep in mind products are made to order due to sensitive ingredients and care. Geneesa, is staying true to her motto, “Embrace Your Royalty, from the Ground to the Crown” (Travis, 2021).
