Purpose of study: To examine the relationship between gender and touching

in conversing mixed-gender dyads. We want to know whether males or

females initiate touch, and who (males or females) touches more when they

are in conversation with a member of the opposite sex. We will also see

whether location of the dyads (indoor or outdoor) affects touching in

conversing mixed-gender dyads.

Two empirical journal articles on the topic have been provided. You are

required to identify at least an additional two related empirical journal

articles to complete your paper.

 

You should produce two (2) hypotheses based on your literature review.

One hypothesis should reflect the part of the study concerning gender and

touch in terms of who touches more, i.e., complete the following sentence,

The other hypothesis should reflect the aspect of the study concerning

location and touch in terms of where do more touches occur, i.e., complete
