What is an Infographic?

An infographic is a collection of imagery, charts, and minimal text that gives an easy-to-understand overview of a topic. Infographics use striking, engaging visuals to communicate information quickly and clearly.  Though there are nine types of infographics but for the purposes of this final exam, you will choose either an Informational or Timeline Infographic.

About Your Assignment:

Using an Infographic, summarize what you are taking away from this course, The Idea of Africa. How has this course impacted you? What resonated with you the most? What has this course caused you to be critically reflective about in your current state and futuristically?

For the final exam, you will construct two (2) Infographics. The first infographic should describe how this course has impacted you using six (6) concepts from weeks 1 - 15. You may include assignments, class discussions, and videos we have watched during the course.

The second infographic will be theme oriented. You will address three (3) themes that resonated with you from each reading: Lynch (3 themes), Marrow (3 themes), and DuBois (3 themes).

Be sure to read the grading rubric so you can address the criterion for the grade you believe you will receive on this Final Exam.
