This week, we focused on the global economy and the importance of international trade due to globalization.

The assignment is divided into 2 sections. You must complete-all questions in all sections.

Section 1: Answer all Questions in this section
The questions in Section 1 is based on the topics discussed during the last two weeks. They can be answered based on the material in the lessons, without citations. They can be answered with 2-3-sentences each. You do not have to cite sources as you should not need to consult outside sources. However, you MUST answer these questions in your-own words.

What is one way that globalization has impacted the world?
How has job security and job quality changed in Canada over the last 30 years?
What impact has Neoliberalism had on Canada?

Section 2: Answer 2 questions in this section
The questions is Section 2 expands on ideas discussed this week and requires research. They are longer form questions and require answers of around 200-300-words each. You should seek out reliable sources and cite them both in-text and in a bibliography/works cited page. Please keep in mind that these questions should be answered in your-own words. If you include a quotation from somewhere else, then you need to have it in quotation marks and cite it. Your answers should NOT be made up of nothing but quotations. I need to see your ability to analyze a topic, make decision based on what you have read, and then support your decision with evidence.

     Different American government administrations have different impacts on the Canadian economy. What impact has the Biden administration had on Canada?
      Do you think Canada can reduce its reliance on the United States for its economic future? If so, how? If not, then why not?
     Governments over the last forty years have focused on signing a growing number of Free Trade agreements and FIPAs. Choose one and say what impact it has had on Canada.
