1. What is the difference between a child with a hearing impairment and a child who is deaf? Aren't they the same?

2. Why is deafness or hearing loss even considered a disability? Does it even affect a child's  speech and language, academic achievement, or social functioning?

3.What are the different types of hearing loss and what causes each? Is it contagious?

4. What is the point of an audiogram or other technologies and supports used to support individuals with hearing impairments?

5. Based on your knowledge from the research, what is your personal philosophy, method, and key components of your approach to educating children wih hearing impairments? Why?
