This assignment will consist of your thoughts, reflections, and analyses of the reading assignments given in class
Each reading assignments will consist of excerpts from different texts. An excerpt is a part, chapter, or section of a book, journal, or magazine article.
For each excerpt in an assignment, you will write a response that demonstrates:
o Acomplete read and summary of the content
o Identification and understanding of the main ideas
© Questioning that reflects what is not clear or understood
o Analysis of the reading through making sense of its meaning or significance on your own terms
© Critical thinking towards the content—deciding what you think or feel and explaining it
© Reaching your own conclusions about the content

For each reading analysis assignment, develop and write an analysis for each excerpt in the form of a complete paragraph. For example, a reading assignment with three excerpts will be three paragraphs. Acomplete paragraph should be at least 5 complete sentences (not “lines”). A complete sentence is a fully-developed and clearly-expressed idea.
