You have been hired as a marketing manager for a high-end clothing company located in the Midwest

Marketing

You have been hired as a marketing manager for a high-end clothing company located in the Midwest. The company has been in business for over 60 years, and its main clothing lines are geared toward ages over 50 and active senior citizens. The company has always relied on sales from large brick-and-mortar department stores. With the growth of online sales and social media, many department stores are shutting down, and the company is losing profits. A new chief executive officer (CEO) has been voted in, and she is ready to make major changes to get back market share and turn the company around. As the newly hired marketing manager for the company, you have been tasked with presenting changes to the marketing plan to the CEO. The company’s existing plan is outdated and does not utilize any online marketing research methods. Create a 15-slide PowerPoint presentation to present new marketing plans to the CEO. In your presentation, show why the company needs to integrate mobile and social media research in its revised marketing plan. Include the elements listed below. Provide an introduction slide with a fictitious name, location, and background information about your company. Describe your target market and their increase in social media use. Describe how you would use qualitative and quantitative research methods in the new marketing plan. Explain how traditional and digital market research tools can help the company in its quest to regain market share. Identify any ethical concerns, and discuss how the company can avoid these in its marketing efforts. Your presentation must be at least 15 slides in length, not counting the title and reference slides. You are required to use at least three outside sources and to utilize the notes section within PowerPoint. Within the notes section, include additional explanations for each slide. As you create your presentation, keep in mind that you are presenting for executives at your organization.
