Explain two principles/strategies of persuasion that strikes you and why ?
1)Scarcity - scarcity as a principle of persuasion suggests that something is more valuable when they are less available. "limited edition" advertisement/marketing campaign really bothers my mind. I keep on thinking that there are limited stocks of this item in that store, I should get it now while stocks last.
2 Liking- liking as a principle of persuasion is that we are more likely to help or do someone a favor because we know or like that person. Celebrities open a clothing line and numerous people support it by following their business instagram accounts, liking their social media pages, and buying from their store because that people is popular, many people likes that person. S/he presents a charismatic aura that invites me to support her/him or do him/her a favor. It strikes me the most because the more connections or popular you are, there are more chances that more number of people will like you and support you (even if you [or your products] are not good or competent).
Basically, there are six principles of persuasion: Reciprocity, Consistency, Social Proof, Liking, Authority, and Scarcity. But scarcity and liking strikes me the most because it really gets me to be on my feet and take action. I provided in my answer the definition of both scarcity and liking before giving the reason why it strikes me the most. I hope what I provided helped!
