ITSW 1307 Semester Project

The university currently has students in its pipeline preparing for

graduation. As a service-learning project, you are to build a database on the college’s students, job

prospects, and queries that will answer the needed questions tasks by your faculty advisor.

Phase 1

Build a database in MS Access to hold student information and to capture a sample of job prospects.

You will need to create the following three tables. The attributes’ data type is up to you. Highlighted in

yellow are the common keys.

JobCode (Code, JobType)

Postings (ID, JobTitle, PostingCompany, City, State, SalaryMin, SalaryMax, AdditionalInformation, Code)

Students (StudentID, FirstName, LastName, Birthday, Sex, ZipCode, Major)
