Instructions: For this assignment, you will need to host a dynamic and interactive webpage on AWS using Elastic
Beanstalk (EB). Make sure the code is not copied and is written by you. Create an environment with Elastic Beanstalk (EB) on AWS. Launch an application by uploading your web page code onto the environment created with Elastic Beanstalk (EB). The code has to be loaded to EB as an archive zipped .zip file containing the proper EB configuration files in the EB format. You can generate such an EB format zipped archive file by using the AWS-EB-CLI (Amazon Web Services – Elastic Beanstalk - Command Line Interface). Use a Ubuntu or
Linux / Unix server created as an AWS EC2 instance for
installing, setting up, and running the AWS-EB-CLI from
the command line prompt in the Linux / Unix Ubuntu server. Create a directory, write and/or add your webpage code as files in that directory. Initialize EB, create an environment, and deploy your web page or application on
AWS EB, all from the AWS-EB-CLI on the command line
in the Ubuntu server. Your web page or application should
not be the same as the sample PHP code script example |
showed in class and it should not be just text. It should
have more than text, such as radio buttons, submit
buttons, text or input fields. It should be a dynamic and
interactive webpage that updates itself based on what a
user enters or clicks.
