5) In preparing the cases, don’t look for a single right answer. Each case will raise a number of issues that need to be evaluated. A good recommendation is on that is based on solid analysis, consider multiple courses of action, and integrates its individual elements.
Case Assignments
Cases are assigned for online and face-to-face discussions listed in the table below.
Online – Four cases (# 1, 6, 7, 13) are assigned for online discussions on Blackboard Æ Discussion Board. The table below lists the start and end date for each case, roughly 12 days for each discussion. Occasionally, I will post other questions to encourage additional discussion. A group of students will be assigned to lead the online discussion (see your schedule below). Please contact me if you don’t see your name listed as a discussion leader.

Individual Case Briefs
Each student is required to write using the outline (p. 11) and submit case briefs for cases (#2, 5, 8, 11) and to be prepared for class meetings. The intent is to ensure that everyone reads the case and is prepared for fruitful discussions. Due dates are listed in the table above. Case briefs are individual activities and should be completed without outside assistance. Each case brief needs to be submitted by 5 pm on the due date on Blackboard Æ Case Briefs following the instruction below. Examples of case briefs are provided in the same location (Case Briefs Æ Case brief examples).
Case briefs should be 3 pages maximum (12 point font, double space, appendices or figures can be on extra pages) using the following outline.
