1. Minimizing Costs
By introducing a BYOD policy in the workplace, the firm can save money by not having to purchase more devices for employees while also increasing productivity. Employees who are able to utilize the devices they are familiar with will be more productive. More output equals more profit. The cost of installation is kept low by having only two devices in each workplace using an ethernet connection. Using high-quality products rather than low-cost ones will reduce costs over time. It is not necessary to repair or replace parts.
2. Sharing Bandwidth
Making use of the wireless router's administrative settings. Giving all devices the same amount of bandwidth ensures that they all run at the same speed. This allows the administrator to go into the device settings later and check which devices are consuming the most bandwidth, and change as needed. Employees will be more productive if the speeds are kept consistent across the board. Uploads and downloads will be quicker and more fluid.
3. Security Concerns
With each business comes the risk of unwanted devices and viruses infiltrating the network. Implementing a firewall between the various offices, as well as one from the main model to the switch, will aid in the prevention of threats. Employees will be required to utilize the company's security software as part of the BYOD policy. Security can also be improved by restricting access to particular websites and domains.
