Part A: Download the test data file from Blackboard:

  1. Make a new folder: 270 T2 Your Name (actual your full name) on the local C:/ Drive, this is the folder that you are going to open the test data file and save a Portable test data file into.

 

  1. Make a new folder: Reports T2 Your Name (actual your full name), this is the folder that you are going to export all your test reports into.
  2. Go to Tests and Quizzes on your blackboard site on the left pane. 

 

  1. Click on ACCT270 QuickBooks Computer Test 2 folder and download the attached company data file. It will be downloaded as ACCT270 Test#2 Start (Portable).
  2. Launch QuickBooks Premier 2018 and restore and open the test data file – ACCT270 Test#2 Start (Portable) to the folder 270 T2 Your Name on the local C:/ Drive. Save the test data file as: ACCT270 Test#2 Your Name. Password: WestComp18 (case sensitive).

 

  1. Open the ACCT270 Test#2 file and rename the company name with your first name and last name

ACCT270 Test#2 Your Name.”

  • Payroll Summary from November 1, 2017 to November 30, 2017 

(File Name “R2_Yourlastname_last3 digitsID#_ Payroll”)

 

Part D: Save the compressed file:

  1. Create a Portable test solution file as ACCT270 Test#2 Your Name inside the folder of 270 T2 Your Name on the local C:/ Drive

 

  1. Close ALL QuickBooks windows and exit the software completely.

 

 

  1. Zip your data solution folders.  

 

Highlight your 270 T2 Your Name folder (make sure inside this folder including your test solution portable data files,) on the local C:/ Drive and right click on 270 T2 Your Name folder, and select the option “Send to Compressed (Zipped) Folder. See the image below.

 

     Highlight your Reports T2 Your Name (2 reports included) and right click on 

            Reports T2 Your Name folder, and select the option “Send to Compressed (Zipped) Folder.   

  

 

Part E: Upload your test files to blackboard

Go to Tests and Quizzes on blackboard, click on ACCT270 QuickBooks Computer Test 2

Browse my computer and attach your compressed 270 T2 Your Name folder and compressed

Reports T2 Your Name folder to ACCT270 QuickBooks Computer Test 2 and click “Submit”
