Since the Charter of Rights and Freedoms became law in Canada, the Supreme Court has ruled on many cases in which rights have allegedly been violated. You will be assigned one of these cases. You are to read the case and prepare a "Case Brier following the model outlined below. The key word is "brier. Your Case Brief should be no more than 11/2 pages in length (anything more than 1 1/2 pages you will need to edit down). Furthermore, it must be single spaced and completed in 12 point font. Do not copy any of the information directly from the source; all of the information that you provide must be in your own words.
