by Sahithi Boda In the course of team management, I learned many things, and the topics that were covered in this course were very informative. The contents that were given special emphasis were team success, social loafing, and the role of the manager in a team. All these topics were of immense importance and have practical utilities. Among these topics, we learned about the concept of social loafing. According to this concept, when a team member feels less inclined to give more effort to the teamwork because the individual contribution is not evaluated properly, then this tendency is called teamwork. Due to the knowledge about this concept through this course, I can now identify if any of my team members ever indulge in any such behavior and make sure they get back to proper work (Singh et al., 2018).

The other concept that we learned was team success. A team comprises of several individuals every one of whom must contribute to the teamwork to make the project successful. We were taught through this course that only if the team members gel well their coordination reflects in the work they do. This coordination can be achieved only through healthy interaction, commitment towards work, punctuality, and discipline behavior. This knowledge is a key to my understanding of team success which I can use in my organization and lead my team in such a way that they follow all these factors and get success (Johnson, 2018).

Even the topic of managerial decisions in teamwork was also very interesting and has helped to understand how the managerial inputs matter in the team decisions and their management. It can be said that whatever I learned from this course will enhance my team-leading skills in my organization and make me an efficient team leader who can contribute to the better performance of the organization (Hongdan & Weiwei, 2018).
