Introduction

The E-Commerce sector in the Nepalese market is on a boom. The recent development in The E-Commerce sector with a new digital payment gateway and high-speed internet connections has made it possible. The government has come up with several spectrum guidelines that have allowed telecommunication Giants to establish their business in our Himalayan country and provide high-speed internet services to our people. Moreover after the establishment of the E payment gateway the use of online services has increased. In this step, it will also encourage young entrepreneurs of our country to come up with innovative Software Solutions for regular products and services.

Colors Nepal has also taken the most of this opportunity by planning to launch a mobile matrimonial application that is targeted to be the best and most advanced digital matchmaking site. Therefore this article will focus on various aspects related to planning execution development and release of a successful mobile application in the Nepalese market. Starting with different ways to generate funds and utilize those funds within a well-defined time frame, this article will further focus on the technical resource and human resource requirements with a well-defined management and planning procedure to make this plan a success.

Financial Requirements

Every new business can only be set up based on the liquidity of funds. Availability of the desired amount will ensure that the startup plan is executed efficiently without compromising any services. As for colors Nepal is planning to launch a matrimonial site and mobile application for the same it will require the requisite amount of money for the application development process, infrastructure development for the office of the application development and maintenance team, the hardware and software requirements, the manpower to be employed, and marketing and Maintenance Services.

The total amount of funds required can be segregated as:

· Infrastructure Development: The initial step of starting a business is infrastructure development. The infrastructure involves a feasible office area, the complex where a team can work together and, the hardware and software systems. If the land is owned then the total fixed cost of infrastructure will be around Rs.15 Crore and monthly charges for infrastructure management will be around Rs.10 Lacs (Strand, 2010).

· Application Development: An application development can be either given as a contract to an experienced team of highly qualified development engineers who can be hired to develop an application for the company. It is better to hire a highly qualified team as the application will need regular updates and modifications based on the user requirements. Therefore application development caused by hiring an application development will be around Rs.1 Crore per month of investment as a salary.

· Human Resource: Apart from the technical team a support team a marketing team and a financial team are required what are the basic operations of an organization which will cost around Rs.1 Crore per month of investment as a salary.

· Marketing and Advertisement Expenses: Let us consider all the miscellaneous expenses including the marketing expenses to be Rs.80 Lacs for the first tear.

The minimum time the organization will need to establish itself in the Nepalese market can be considered for about one year from the date of Incorporation. Therefore it is necessary to ensure that the organization has enough financial resources to pay the monthly e expenses and salaries without any fail. Therefore an approximate total of Rs.40 crores is the sufficient requirement to start the matrimonial mobile application and manage it for at least one year in the market without failing to meet its monthly expenses (Strand, 2010).

A basic method to accumulate funds in a Startup is bootstrapping which means using your funds to start an organization. In this case, that approximate requirement is about Rs.40 crores and bootstrapping method might be a tough task for Colors Nepal. Therefore the organization needs to look towards alternative methods to raise investment for this project. Some of the best preferred alternative methods to raise investment are:

· Get an Angel Investment: Most of the successful online businesses in the current market have tasted success because of the Angel investment backup. Angel investors in the markets are there to support the startup if they like the idea. Moreover, Angel investors can be from any country who might show interest in our project as it is a new project for the Nepalese market.

· Joint Venture: An alternative to Angel investment is allowing a branded organization to invest as a joint venture by sharing the agreed amount of equity. Adding a venture capitalist will ensure increased credibility in the business as they are an experienced organization and can give beneficial inputs that will help the organization grow in the long run (Strand, 2010).

· Raise Funds by Winning Contests: Several contests are being held around the world where an innovative plan this selected by the sponsoring organization who invests in the winning idea with their terms and conditions.

· Government Startup Policies: Recently to ensure the growth of the digital market industry in our country the government has come up with several startup policies. These policies direct the banking sectors to invest in innovative ideas on the guarantee provided by the government.

Timeline for Launch

Nepal is a religious country. People in our country strictly prefer to marry on dates that are feasible according to the Hindu calendar. It has been noticed that most of the marriage dates in the Hindu calendar start from December 2 February and then starting from April to mid-July. Therefore it can be concluded that most of the matchmaking procedures take place in the rest of the months. We need to ensure or application to be developed and deployed before December. Proper marketing at the starting phase will allow people to be informed about this application. The time frame of organizational development can be divided into 4 phases:

· Planning: In this phase, the blueprint of the organization is prepared by using brainstorming techniques and examples of other organizations in a similar field. Proper research and development procedure are followed to develop a plan to be executed. This phase takes 15 days to 1 month (Jimee et al, 2019).

· Execution: In the execution phase the planning methods are executed by the hired team with responsible management and a director who takes care of the organizational development process. This phase involves all the paperwork processes and takes about 15 days.

· Development: The development phase is the most important phase where the planned out methods and execution strategies are implemented practically by the team members. This phase will see development improvement and maintenance. This is the most time taking phase that can consume up to 3 months.

· Deployment: The final phase is the deployment phase where the application is released. It is necessary to ensure effective marketing procedures are being followed before the deployment phase during diploma fees and after the deployment phase. This phase comes immediately after development which can take anywhere around 15 days to one month based on the target population (Jimee et al, 2019).

Infrastructure Development

After successfully raising the funds for our application and planning out the work process to be implemented for the application development it is necessary to develop an infrastructure to implement the plan. And organizational infrastructure is the most important part of office startup business establishment as it includes managing the funds efficiently implementing the plants assuring timely completion of the project and managing the human and Technical resources. An infrastructure development model consists of systems protocols and processes that will give structure to the organization which will support its key function and design routine practice. To ensure successful business run off the matrimonial mobile application to be developed by Colors Nepal all the key elements of an organization infrastructure should be developed and maintained efficiently. The key elements of organizational infrastructure are:

· Finding an Office Space: The physical infrastructure of an organization consumes a large amount of infrastructure budget. Therefore a rented property should be preferred in the initial stages of a business startup so that the time taken to develop complex can be reduced and there would be less loss If in case the startup fails. An office space should be preferred by ensuring factors connectivity with public transport nearby industrial location and safety to environmental factors. Also, space should be sufficient enough to accommodate the targeted number of employees. After the selection of office space, it is important to develop a vibrant interior to ensure your employee productivity. A vibrant interior will infuse positivity and willingness to work in employees.

· Human Resource: The human resource is the backbone of a digital organization. The digital organization aims at reaching people through their mobile devices. Therefore human resources can take care of this connectivity. There are various categories of human resources an organization requires based on the requirement. Firstly responsible board of directors needs to be selected that will look over every operation of the organization. The company will further be divided into different departments such as the R and D department, development department, testing department, financial department maintenance department, and human resource management department. Every project will have a representative from each department. All the selected representatives from which department will former team. To manage all these departments there is a requirement of a management department who is representative will be appointed as the project manager of the particular project.

· Hardware and Software Infrastructure: As the aim of the organization is to develop a complete digital matrimonial application, the company should focus on procuring the most efficient hardware resources such as computer printers data storage systems, and servers. · Support Staff: Lastly the infrastructure developed by the organization needs to be maintained and it is necessary to ensure net employees are provided with all the services of a multinational organization. Therefore skilled support staff is necessary to ensure maintenance of the property.

Defining the Work Process

After the organizational infrastructure is developed it is the responsibility of the board of directors to design a framework for policy implementation in the organization. These policies include organizational learning concepts, ways to integrate IT resources, integration of local and visual teams, ethical and legal implications, and cybersecurity and privacy measures taken for data security.

For some, the integration solution can be a standard application program interface used to perform a specific function and for others, it can be an interface to exchange data with other applications. Both the approach are a part of the integration format.

· Understanding Business Requirements: It is necessary to understand the requirement of the end-user who will be using our online matrimonial application. A matrimonial website has a basic work process where a user initially registers itself by giving personal information such as age, height, color, weight, hobbies, education, interests, likes, and dislikes. For example, if the user signed up is a female and the organization has other registered men who have gone through similar registration procedures by submitting the required information. The system will go through the procedure of matching the interests likes and dislikes of the registered users and suggest then the most appropriate profile match. To improve with the user-friendly environment our application can use the concept of online dating applications such as tinder by suggesting nearby registered users and chat request feature. This will ensure your involvement of more users as this will prove to be a different concept from the traditional matrimonial websites. The requirement will be the basic guideline for software development.

· Managing Connection Systems: The integration of the source application with the target system is a vital process. Sometimes additional hardware or software is used to purchase install and support these components. Application is developed it should be made sure that the application is available for all the operating systems such as Android and IOS and is supported in the previous versions and updated version as well. Moreover, the software needs to be updated according to the update in the operating systems.

· Customizing the Core Setup: This integration process is to offer clients a highly customized solution that will meet the requirement through the core processing platforms. Because of this, no customer integration solutions are the same.

· Data Mapping Considerations: It is important to bring the system under one network and ensure that data is available in every system. Initially, efficient marketing strategies are to be adopted to ensure the addition of more users. These marketing strategies can include onsite teams that will conduct physical marketing strategies. They can be called a local team and the team working in the backend can be called the visual team. Integration of both teams is necessary to ensure proper communication.

Cyber Security and Privacy Measures

Our application will have users registered themselves with sensitive information that is very personal and should not be leaked. Also, user registration will require a monthly subscription through the online payment gateway. To renew the subscription a system will be developed to ensure automatic deduction of subscription amount from the user account. This is done by storing the user's banking credentials. Therefore this data should be secured using cybersecurity and privacy measures such as:

· Ensuring encrypted security and password policies that allow only registered users to access the network of the organization.

· Access control measures should also be implemented to ensure users can use the database according to the required fields (Maqsood, & Rizwan, 2019).

· A Firewall system will ensure that no external breach or cyber attack can affect the system's security.

· Updating software platforms and programs regularly will ensure updated security measures for the updated virus.

· Monitoring of intrusion and system threats to another organization and potential threats in our organization will keep the organization ready.

· Employees can be trained to raise awareness programs regarding cybersecurity processes

Later the market will have an increased number of competitors as an online payment gateway has just been released by the government.
