• 1. Study hours per week (STUDY_HR) & GPA
• 2. SAT & GPA

FOR EACH ANALYSIS ABOVE, state the following:

• A clear and concise research question: (e.g., "Is there a relationship between X and Y?")
• Null hypothesis (e.g., "There is no relationship between X and Y.")
• Research hypothesis (non-directional) (e.g., "There is a relationship between X and Y.")
• Basic descriptive analysis of each of the variables used (e.g., mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, and range)
• Your correlational findings using the template provided in Module 7: Lecture Slide #8 or #9.

Take Special Note of the Following Information:

• Be sure to include the EXCEL output (e.g., tables and such) using the Data Toolpak. I would suggest that you do of the above for STUDY_HR and GPA and then repeat the process for SAT and GPA. (It would make it easier to follow and grade.)
• In your Study Hours and GPA analysis, your p-value will look like this: 3.01305E-23. This is a scientific notation. It means: .0000000000000000000030105. (i.e., much less than .05). As such expression is difficult to include in a limited space, it is usually written as "p < .001."
