Dear Mr. Lyons:
Your restaurant has the worst service and food of any place I have ever eaten. How you can call yourself a restaurateur is beyond me!
Last Sunday, I took my family to your restaurant for my oldest son’s birthday. Even though it was clearly a special occasion for our family, we had to wait in the cold entryway of your restaurant for over 20 minutes until a table large enough for our party was available. When we were seated and received our food, it was lukewarm and the waiter got two of the orders wrong. I have never seen such incompetence! The very least your employee could have done was to give us our meals for free, but he said that was against company policy. (He did give us free desserts.)
This was a very important occasion for our family, and it was ruined by your restaurant and your employees. I demand that you provide us some compensation. How do you expect to remain in business when you treat customers so poorly?
