This week we will explore the meaning of karma -- the law of cause and effect of actions -- in the religions of India. Think up an incident in someone's life (perhaps your own), and analyze it according to the theory of karma in the Jain, Buddhist, Hindu, and Sikh traditions. First state the incident. Then in four separate points state what a Jain, Buddhist, Hindu, and Sikh might say to explain why the incident happened to that person. For each explanation, make good use of the specific ethical values and key terms used within that religion. 300 -400 words only.
